Longevity & Preventative Health
A proactive approach to biomarkers, health optimisation and long-term wellbeing.
Overview
About longevity & preventative health
Preventative health is about acting on information early. Regular pathology and medical review help identify changes over time and support informed conversations about long-term health with your treating doctor.
Common areas patients seek support with
- Cardiovascular and metabolic risk markers
- Hormonal and thyroid function
- Energy, sleep and recovery
- Long-term health tracking
The role of pathology
Updated pathology is required before doctor review. Depending on your history and clinical requirements, the treating doctor may consider markers such as:
- Cardiovascular markers
- Metabolic health
- Liver, kidney and thyroid function
- Relevant vitamins and minerals
Not every patient requires every test. Requirements vary by program, history and clinical need.
Doctor consultation and treatment pathways
Once onboarding and pathology are complete, a consultation with a registered medical practitioner is arranged. The doctor reviews your medical history, symptoms, results and goals, and discusses options that may be appropriate for you. Treatment pathways vary between patients, and a prescription is issued only where the treating doctor determines it is clinically suitable. No treatment, prescription or outcome is guaranteed.
Monitoring
Where a plan is commenced, continuity of care is maintained through updated blood work and doctor consultations every 8–12 weeks, depending on your plan and clinical requirements.
